The Abbey Morgeot
Being both a wine photographer and wine lover, it doesn’t get much better than being in Burgundy in the heart of perhaps the greatest wine region in the world. The vista’s are stunning; the Cote d’Or stretched out before you, dotted with ancient stone walls and historic villages.
Then of course enjoying the best Pinot served with regional foods in the very place where it was all grown and made. Superbe!
And knowing that I’m a cyclist, you can guess it was so much the better because renting a bike for the week is by far the best way to experience the peaceful back roads through the vineyards where the historic Abbey Morgeot stands proud but deserted amongst the vines.
